Does Google recruit from IITs?
In the past, Google has offered hires at IITs annual pay of around Rs 25 lakh for domestic roles and up to Rs 2 crore for international ones, including stock options, relocation allowance and joining bonus. In 2015, Google hired about 20 students from the top five IITs.
Is Mait Tier 2?
Now, coming to MAIT, it lies just between the layers of Tier 2 and Tier 3. Reasons have already been explained by my friend Konark Sharma . So, if you are too critical of this college, you will put it under tier 3.
Do big companies like Google and Facebook come for recruitment?
Google and Facebook also came for recruitment when I was sitting for placements. Google was open only for M-Techs and Facebook was open for btechs also. All big companies come for recruitment so that’s not as issue really. All depends on candidate after that if he/she can pull it off.
Can Facebook and Google help lower the rank of nits?
Facebook and google might not come to lower NITs ( though I am not confirmed), but can give jobs through off-campus placements giving remarkable significance on national ‘tag’. They usually believe, NIT provides one right working culture, unlike mediocre engineering colleges, so one can reach the required LEVEL.

Should I compare colleges for getting a job in Google?
If you are only concerned about CS/IT Branch then don’t compare colleges. Any college students can get a job in Google if he is willing to.IT companies don’t give that much weightage to college name but your skills. If you can crack their test and interviews you are welcome.
