There’s no evidence that has linked IQ, or general intelligence with “rudeness” or anything similar. If a smart person were to be rude, perhaps impatience with another person’s lack of ability to grasp a concept would be more common with intelligent people, but there are many, many reasons to be rude.

Some smart people are humble, polite, and empathetic, and others are arrogant, impertinent, and domineering. Some feel no need to show off, while others are so infantile they make sure everyone in the rooms knows how smart they are.
