For the ENTP it isn’t always easy to show how deeply they care, since the idea of being open and vulnerable can be a bit frightening for them. ENTPs care deeply about those around them, even if they don’t constantly feel like showering them with outward expressions of these emotions and feelings.

Do ENTP hide their feelings?

ENTPs do have feelings but typically will hide them under a mask of some form. Like most NTs, ENTPs have fairly strong feelings and prefer to keep them under control. We tend toward a logical approach to life.

ENTPs can often struggle when it comes to emotions, which is why they often find ways to deflect away from them. When they are feeling insecure the ENTP will likely use humor to distract away from it. ENTPs use things like sarcasm and humor as a way to deflect away from their insecurities or negative emotions.

ENTPs will often be rather touchy feely with someone they care about, whether this is in a playful or affectionate way. ENTPs don’t become uncomfortable with physical touch or different physical activities in most situations.

ENTPs are not usually agreeable people, since they actually enjoy debating with others. For the ENTP learning is much more important than agreeing, which makes them somewhat argumentative people.

What are the weaknesses of entps?

When this aspect of personality is weaker, the ENTP may be insensitve to others and can even be seen as aloof or unkind. The introverted sensing function is centered on understanding the past and often applying it to current experiences and future concerns. This is often a point of weakness for ENTP personalities.

What is the ENTP thinking process?

This cognitive function is expressed in the ENTPs thinking process. People with this type of personality are more focused on taking in information about the world around them. When they do use this information to reach conclusions, they tend to be very logical. ENTPs are logical and objective.

Because of this, they sometimes tend to come up with one idea after another without actually going forward with plans and actions to bring their creative notions into fruition. According to psychologist David Keirsey, the creator of the Keirsey Temperament Sorter, ENTPs are known as Rational Inventors.

Are INTPs open-minded?

INTPs are extremely open-minded people, and often enjoy entertaining different points of view. They prefer to approach things from a unique perspective, and are not afraid to dive into a new idea. INTPs dislike feeling like they have been closed-minded, and often feel like they are missing out on something.
