Why are you shifting from the core branches to it?

Due to their interests in the relevant fields. Due to lack of exposure and jobs they tend to shift to IT. It is true that some of the people do their b. tech in branches like civil or mech and still they shift their gears to IT in the end But not all the people do that.

Why you are applying for IT industry and why not jobs in your core domain?

tech in pure core domain Electrical. But I choose to go for job options in IT sector for more opportunities and growth. When you look for core domain jobs then Government sector or PSUs are good but you would get limited seats and more candidates. If you go to private industries they really pay low to new hires.

Why are core engineering jobs in India so different from it jobs?

Most of the core jobs in India are small companies or start-ups that are yet to break even, let alone start making profits. Hence, there are no attractive salary packages in the core engineering jobs in India.
