Why are humans emotional creatures?

By nature, human beings are first and foremost emotional creatures. We are motivated and activated by emotions. Emotions drive us and lead us both consciously and unconsciously. Research is showing us that our emotions are instinctual in nature and are encoded within our genes.

Are humans supposed to be emotional?

Humans are emotional creatures as well as thinking ones. Greek rhetoricians realized that humans sometimes can be persuaded by the force of feeling alone, rather than rational discussion. This approach is called pathos.

Why do some people not feel empathy for animals?
