Meyers and Meyers-Briggs were not formally trained psychologists, but were building of the work of formally trained psychologists such as Jung. Myers Briggs is the back of cereal box version of science. I think that’s a little harsh. It was empirically developed by experts in the field, it’s just obsolete now that we know more about personality.
