What happens after PAN is allotted?

When PAN is allotted to an entity, PAN Card too is given by the Income Tax Department. While PAN is a number, PAN Card is a physical card that has your PAN as well as name, date of birth (DoB), and photograph. Copies of this card can be submitted as proof of identity or DoB.

How long does it take to get ePAN?

The process to apply for the card is very simple, and it usually takes around 15 – 20 days. However, you can apply for a PAN card online, and after uploading all your required documents, you will receive your e-PAN within 48 hours.
