What could have prevented Anakin from turning to the Dark Side?
Anakin thought that he needed the dark side to save Padme, so he turned to the Dark Side. But it was the light side of the force he would need to embrace, to honour her memory and save her son. That’s why Padme couldn’t bring Anakin back from the dark side, and Luke could.
What would’ve happened if Anakin didn’t turn to the Dark Side?
Anakin would have likely been killed by the clone troopers, along with the other Jedi. Anakin would go on a mission to overthrow the Emperor. An assassination mission would be likely. Now if the Emperor hadn’t found an apprentice by then, Anakin would likely end up in a throne room with the Emperor.
What can be considered the primary reason for Anakin falling to the Dark Side?
It was due to his fear of Padme dying after his mother had died. Anakin blamed himself for the demise of his mother. The nightmare of Padme dying in childbirth made his big fear resurface, thereby pushing him over to the Dark Side.
What if Anakin turned to the light side?
If Anakin were brought into the light (which I don’t think would have happened, even without Padme’s struggle) then he would have grown into the greatest Jedi ever. His knowledge and power of/in the Force would have been unmatched.
How could Anakin have been saved?
It took some time, but Star Wars has officially explained why Qui-Gon Jinn was the only Jedi who could have saved Anakin Skywalker – because only Qui-Gon learned the truth about the Dark Side that Obi-Wan, Mace Windu, and even Yoda never realized.
Why did Anakin need to save Padme?
The only reason why Anakin joined the dark side in the first place was to save Padme from dying during her pregnancy. As one post put it, there was nothing left for Anakin. The Order was gone, his relationship with Obi Wan was destroyed, and he had killed Padme in his anger.
