Is Lithuanian harder than Russian?

In terms of difficulty, it is a challenge for an English speaker and has a similar complexity to Russian although the alphabet is much more familiar. There is also much subtlety to pronunciation which Russian perhaps doesn’t have.

How to become fluent in Lithuanian?

In Lithuanian more than other Indo-European languages, you need to develop your intuitions as to what sounds good. You can’t be fluent if you are always conjugating verbs and declining nouns on the fly. Listen to dialogues in the course you choose over and over.
