Since 2018, the college does not provide laptops. You will have to bring your own laptop. If you are purchasing a new device, an i5 processor along with 4GB RAM stick should be sufficient for your college courses. You can opt for higher-end devices depending on your need and interests.

What are the rules of hostel life at NIT Delhi?

Hostel residents are not allowed to leave the campus after midnight. A non-resident cannot stay in the hostel overnight. Cooking in the rooms is prohibited. A student’s parents and other same-gender guests may visit the student in his/her room from 8 am – 8 pm.

How are the hostels of Delhi University for outside Delhi students?

The hostels have special facilities for outside-Delhi students- like they are allowed to leave baggage behind when they leave after the semester is over. Also they are the one’s who are alloted hostels first. 8 clever moves when you have $1,000 in the bank.
