Guruthi is prepared using the water of temple well, Jagger, turmeric powder, chunnambu and banana. Guruthi is provided for the devotees after offering it to the deity. Instead of chunnambu, guruthi was prepared using bleaching powder, told Chottanikkara devaswom manager Bijukumar.
