How do you know if you got accepted into JYP?
How will I be notified of acceptance? Only the accepted applicants will be notified within 3 weeks from assessment. We will contact you directly by the phone number written in the application. Overseas residents will be notified of acceptance via e-mail instead of phone calls.
Does JYP send confirmation email for complete evaluation to everyone?
They will send an email after viewing your application. It is not the same as everyone. There’s no certain time/day for them to send you an email.
How many emails do you get from JYP?
For an online audition, if you passed, you’ll receive three emails in total. For everyone who applied for the audition, you’ll receive 2 emails to 1 email.
How do you know if you have failed a JYP Online audition I got an email?
Do not think of the audition has been reviewed email to say that you have passed. If after a few months, one or two maybe, then you have failed. If you havent had a call or an email for 3 weeks already that means you didnt pass.

Does JYP pay for your flight and education?
Yes. JYP will pay for your education but if you debut, you will have to pay it back. If you end up leaving the company without debuting, you will not have to pay anything back.

Does JYP allow phones?
Trainees are allowed to use their phone. But they have to give their phones to the staff or trainers when they are having trainings. So specifically, once they enter the practice room, NO phone. The phones will be returned to them once they leave the practice room or once they return to their dorms.
Can we sing Blackpink in JYP audition?
Yes, you can sing any song. Usually, there is no restriction.

Based on personal experience, they will send you an average of 3 emails. So, they will send an automatic email to you when you turn in your audition, this will usually be something along the lines of “we’ve received your application, and are looking through it.”
