How did Korg and Miek survive Thanos?

Unfortunately, most of them don’t make it out alive, thanks to Thanos and his evil minions, who were obviously there to get the Tesseract/Space Stone from Loki. However, it was confirmed by the Russos that an escape pod got away, so at least some of the Asgardians survived and went elsewhere, including Valkyrie.
