Can INFJs be violent?

INFJs definitely do not enjoy violence, and often believe it is a waste of energy. They are often people who want to avoid seeing others in pain, which makes violence a rather unpleasant thing for them. Most INFJs become pained when they hear about war, and despise the idea of people suffering.

Why do INFJs get angry?

INFJs, like any other personality type, have desires and when our desires are not met, we get angry. When INFJs keep focusing on serving other people, our own desires get ignored and resentment builds. Then, this accumulated anger gets released in one shot without warning, sometimes, over something minor.

Do INFJs have tempers?

INFJs are not normally short-tempered people, and have a lot of patience in most situations. INFJs usually become angry for just reasons, which is often because someone has abused them for too long, or because they hurt someone the INFJ loves. While their temper is not short, it is extreme.

What hurts an INFJ?

The INFJ can find themselves getting hurt feelings over small actions taken, or even ones which haven’t been taken. They don’t do this on purpose, they just care so deeply about these people and value their opinions and their words.

What happens when you anger an INFJ?

A lot of things can influence how an INFJ will express their anger. Usually, they will get more withdrawn and stuck in their head when they’re angry. They might try to shut off noise, lights, or find a room they can hide away in to deal with their thoughts and charged emotions.

Do INFJs feel out of place?

This is something the INFJ does to protect themselves, because they do often feel strange or out of place when they are around most people. Being rare can cause them to be viewed as weird or strange, when in reality people just don’t understand them because they are unique.

Why are INFJs so awkward in relationships?

Sometimes this causes the INFJ to feel tense around certain people, especially when they know something about that person which they are hiding. This makes situations awkward, and so it really isn’t the INFJ who is being awkward but rather the circumstances.

INFJs are supposed to be really good at reading other people’s emotions, guessing their thoughts, and seeing things from their perspectives. In many situations, that’s true.

There really are people out there who see your INFJ weirdness as attractive or even fascinating. They see and appreciate INFJ intelligence, caring natures, sense of humor, and sincere kindness. Instead of finding our depth of ideas and emotions intimidating, they find it intriguing.
