The people to play as the SCP are chosen at the round beggining regardless of patreon support. I guess you have just been unlucky : ( Well,173 and 096 are kinda boring to play with their drawbacks and its more fun to play as Scientist/D-boi anyways because of how creative you can be with surviving (escape with mates, sacrifice mates, camp gate….)
Can SCP 173 move in SCP 173?

Is it possible to be selected as an SCP by luck?
Thats not at all how that works bud. It’s just random that you get selected as an SCP but if you have no idea how the SCP you get chosen as works, then you should watch a few videos. It isn’t luck, actually, unless you are on a SMod server with a smart class picker.
