Is coding GPU or CPU intensive?

If you are making games and these games are very graphically intense, then you might think of having a powerful GPU. Otherwise for compiling and Coding, a decent CPU is must. Therefore in my opinion opt for a better CPU.

Is coding CPU or RAM intensive?

Compiling, especially large applications, is very I/O intensive, and having more RAM means you can save more time paging to and from disk. Most CPUs today, especially if you go with a cheap quad-core, will provide plenty of CPU power for your compiling, but having the RAM will help with the data going back and forth.

Do you need a good CPU for coding?

In general, a nice Intel core i5 or i7 processor with a frequency of 3GHz or more should suffice for most people.

Yes it will do good in programming as its a 6 core 12 threads processors and for more heavy programming you need more core & more speed, which will easily be attain through Ryzen 5 either first gen or second gen.
