What’s wrong with anime like Ghost in the Shell?
The problem with those animes is that they don’t really dive deep into the philosophy and instead just slightly touch the subject. Each has a somewhat strange/unusual world, touches deep topic, and psychological subjects. However, they don’t push philosophical component to the same extent as Ghost in the Shell does – it is just overtones.
