What do you call people who like K-pop?

First off, what is a “Koreaboo” (K-Boo)? Contributors from Urban Dictionary describe a Koreaboo as “someone who is obsessed with Korean culture so much they denounce their own culture and call themselves Korean.” Yes, there are non-Korean people out here who are claiming themselves as Korean.

How dO you offend a kpop fan?

Here are some things non-Kpop fans say to Kpop fans that annoy to hell outta us:

  1. “oMG tHey LoOk LikE gIRls” or “tHey sOUNd LikE gIRls”
  2. “wHy dO yOU eVeN LIstEN tO tHEM, YoU dON’t eVEN KNow wHaT THey’Re SAyINg”
  3. “CHING CHING cHONG”
  4. “tHeY All LooK tHE sAMe”
  5. “wHY dO YOu eVEN LisTEN tO tHEsE cHINese bOYs”

Why do people like K-pop so much?

Obviously common things such as music, diverse concepts, multi-talented idols performing for their fans, and great performances are one of the many reasons some people love K-Pop. However, I believe one of the most critical reason why people enjoy K-Pop so much, is because of the connection of K-Pop fans and K-Pop idols.

What has attracted you to KPOP?

Here are some of the reasons that I believe attracted me to kpop: Music is a universal language: This is something that I firmly believe in. Dancing: When I first got into kpop I was mesmerized by the dancing these idols do. Talent: It’s obvious that kpop idols are freakin TALENTED. Fan service: Kpop artists know how to treat their fans.

Is Kpop better than American pop?

Kpop is way better than American pop. Kpop idols are so talented, they can sing, they can dance, rap, act . America idols, I don’t think they are anyway near to kpop idols in terms of diverse talents. They don’t dance and all, simply jump to the beats.

Why do K-pop idols look closer to their fans than they are?

While fan and artist/idol interactions are seen in all music industries, the K-Pop industry pushes this even more by making their idols look closer to their fans than they actually are, which grants K-Pop fans to feel more connected to their idols. A fan can relate more to idols due to delusion of a ‘closeness’ to their idols.
