Are thoughts reality?
Our thoughts are exactly that—thoughts. They are not reality, and just because we’re thinking them does not mean they’re going to come true. We think so much about our anxious, negative thoughts that we start to believe that they’ll come true. Just because you think of something, will not make it true.
What is the difference between real and imagined?
Imaginations are although internal images of a human being that are not visible to the senses but the reality is something that is not imagined and is really that is visible to senses. However, our life is persuaded in the direction when the reality and imagination are distinguished by a boundary line.

Imagination is a cognitive process used in mental functioning and sometimes used in conjunction with psychological imagery. It is considered as such because it involves thinking about possibilities. Imagined images, both novel and recalled, are seen with the “mind’s eye”.

I have personally found this to be true, and I’ve also discovered that there is a big difference between imagining and daydreaming. You are imagining when you are open and allowing creativity from Spirit to flow through you. The state of imagining comes from your soul, your essence – your inner child.

What makes a thought feel real is the attention we bring to it. We make a thought into a solid object by focusing on it and relating to it as if it is an event happening in the world somewhere.
Are thoughts and imaginations real?
Well, of course your thoughts and imaginations are both real, in the sense that they have physical correlates in specific patterns of activation of your brain cells! The exact correlations are just not yet fully known, and they won’t be for a considerable time to come!
How does the brain distinguish between real and imaginary?
Really, your brain doesn’t distinguish real from imaginary! It’s pretty obvious when you think about it. The stress response evolved in humans to give us the ability to fight or flee when faced with danger. Chemicals including cortisol and adrenalin help kick start the body, pushing blood towards the major muscles to give you strength.
Is it possible to meditate on thoughts?
To meditate on this is liberating, because it implies that what we are personally living inside our heads is not real. We are aware of our thoughts, so in that sense they are real. And yet, our thoughts do not exist outside of our awareness.
