Why does Sauron say Aragorn?
It is one of Aragorn’s names, given to him by Galadriel – and as others have said, it refers to a green stone he owned and sometimes wore. Most importantly here, it is the name he will one day use as king – so when Sauron uses it, he is taunting or tempting Aragorn with a yet-unfulfilled future.
