INTPs easily comprehend learning material when it is presented in a conceptual form and new information flows logically from that given before. They constantly look for a theoretical basis to which new information can be linked. Their understanding of new material is deep and analytical.

INTPs are the fastest learners of all the types when something is abstract, complex and it interests them. They are often retarded at practical sensing stuff though.

Because they enjoy theoretical and abstract concepts, INTPs often do particularly well in science-related careers. They are logical and have strong reasoning skills, but are also excellent at thinking creatively. INTPs can be very independent and place a great deal of emphasis on personal freedom and autonomy.

Are INTPs tolerant of stress?

INTPs have a significant degree of tolerance to high levels of learning related stress. They do not always balance their efforts in learning new material but are capable of learning it through short periods of intensive effort. What is your personality type?

“I’m gonna study for X minutes” is a stupid approach. Study a section, even if its as small as 3–5 pages; then when you become sure you completely understood that part, immediately award yourself. Small break, cup of drink, a little walk, patting the cat.
