How do you use luminous pigment powder?
Easy To Use: Just charge the glow in the dark pigment in the sunlight or any direct light source. For a fast and intensive charge, we highly recommend the bright, direct light source – black light UV-tubes or energy saving black light bulbs. Then the pigment powder will glow in the dark.
How long does glow powder last?
The powder itself will be effective for around 20 years, after which the glow intensity will drop by about 10\%. You’ll likely find that the powder will even outlast the medium you mix it with.
How do you mix luminous powder?
You’ll want to place 1 part powder to 5 parts paint (or 20\% by volume of glow powder to paint medium). Pour paint into the bowl. Gradually pour your paint medium over the powder in your bowl. Carefully stir the mixture.
Can you mix glow powder with glue?
Mix about 30 grams of Glow Powder into 100ml of Clear Glue. Add water to dilute as necessary. Stir the mixture until it reaches a nice smooth texture.
Can I mix glow powder with water?
Do not mix the glow powder with a medium that is water based or high in acidity. These crystals are very small and just appear like a fine powder. When they are mixed with a clear medium as we do with our glow paint, the glow powder does not dissolve, it is just suspended in the medium.

How do you charge glow powder?
How do I charge my glow in the dark items? For the best performance, we recommend using either our UV flashlights or sunlight for the fastest, brightest charge. Black light tubes are also great for charging but are less focused than LEDs so may take a little longer (they’re also a lot less convenient).
Can you mix glow powder with oil?
Most Gluminous glow pigments should only be mixed into oil/solvent base mediums. Water-based mediums will deactivate the product.
