Algebra based physics isn’t necessarily easier than calculus based physics, however, the AP Physics C: E/M class is generally regarded as a harder class than AP Physics 1. The class covers almost twice the amount of material (E&M and mechanics) and is thus faster paced than AP Physics 1.
