Why do I feel like losing someone?
Anxiety, anger and depression come from a sense of disconnection. Anxiety makes us afraid of where we are are going; that we could lose something, miss an opportunity, or be inadequate. It makes us fear losing someone we love. We have to think we are separate, or different, to feel this way.
How does a parent feel after the death of a child?
Functioning no longer comes naturally. It is forced. Natural order is broken, and nothing goes as planned. The parent not only feels cheated out of their child’s life, but also feels guilty for still being alive. A young person that should grow up, and go through the process of aging, is no longer in existence.

So when a child dies, as opposed to an adult, it breaks the cycle, and hinders the circle of life. Although, the thought of losing a parent is scary, we subconsciously start preparing ourselves for the devistation of losing a parent. It’s just supposed to be that way.
