What is the difference between Kuchipudi and Kathakali?

Kathakali is the classical dance form of Kerala. Kuchipudi is one of the classical dance forms of the South India. Kuchipudi derives its name from the Kuchipudi village of Andhra Pradesh. In the seventeenth century the Kuchipudi village was presented to the Brahmins, who were experts in staging dance and drama.

What is the difference between Bharatanatyam and Kathak dance?

Bharatanatyam is a south Indian dance form, more specifically speaking, it originated in the state Tamil Nadu. Kathak is a north Indian dance form and it was developed by the nomads who were known as the Kathaks. Bharatanatyam was an art performed by the temple dancers and was always accompanied by the Carnatic music.
