Is AWS more popular than Azure?

Although Azure has been witnessing higher growth rates than AWS in the last four years, AWS is leading the share in the market with 21\% as of April 2021.

In the past few years, Azure has had higher revenue growth rates when compared directly to AWS. Most recently in FY21 Q3, Azure’s revenue growth was 50\% compared to AWS’ revenue growth of 32\%.

Why AWS is popular than Azure?

When comparing the two cloud vendors, AWS has the greatest depth across compute, database, analytics and storage. Azure is deemed to offer comprehensive features especially for Enterprise businesses using Microsoft apps. AWS is the more expensive option but is also the more powerful cloud platform.

Is Azure harder than AWS?

In my personal opinion, AWS is the easiest to learn, primarily because of the simplicity and flow of their documentation as well as online training material. Azure and GCP are way behind AWS in terms of ease of learning. Both Azure and AWS are extremely hard to learn if you don’t have passion.
