What is considered low ELO in LoL?

Some players will say anything below Gold is low ELO, anything below Diamond 2 is low ELO, or anything under top 200 Challenger is low ELO! In this guide, we’re going to go with anything below or around the lower end of Gold is low ELO, and anything above or around that is high ELO.

Why is it so hard to climb in League of Legends?

Ranked in LoL is so hard to climb because you are up against people around your skill level actually applying themselves into a game. Challenger players are in challenger because of their raw skill and game sense, while hardstuck iron players are the exact opposite.
