EU4 is definitely the more complex one, though it may seem simpler at first. I too want to agree with this statement. CK2 is very different than all other strategy games I’ve ever seen, so you’re bound to be surprised early on by the various claims and things like fighting a war for a guy who ends up independent.

Should I get CK3 or euiv?
EUIV is much, much harder to play than either CK2 or CK3. It is probably the hardest game by Paradox which hasn’t had a successor yet, minus maybe Vic2. I’m sure you’ll enjoy either game. Maybe get CK3 now since it is new and wait for christmas sales for EU4 and its DLCs?
