How does Minor illusion work?
You create a sound or an image of an object within range that lasts for the Duration. The Illusion also ends if you dismiss it as an action or cast this spell again. If you create a sound, its volume can range from a Whisper to a scream.

Glad I don’t use that and refer back to earlier editions. Yes you can wear as many rings as you want, but the attunement limitation remains. This way is not OP. In previous versions of D&D you could only wear a maximum of 2 magic rings.
Can you use minor illusion to make a mask?
The most important detail that gets ignored is the fact that any illusion created by the spell can not move… You can’t flip someone an illusory coin, or give yourself an illusory mask… you can create a mask that floats in place and just stand behind it, but it’s not likely to trick anyone.
Can a minor illusion make something invisible?
The main reason I’d think this is because how Minor Illusion, or any Illusion type spell works, is forming an imaginary image that the creature sees. You may be able to stretch it with your DM that you wait until a creature uses its ability to see invisibility, then you cast the illusion.
